About the party on Saturday, September 13th.

We’re holding a casual BBQ-style party scheduled for Saturday September 13th from 6:30pm onwards, at the Pavillion Bar, a two minute walk from the training venue on the grounds of Trinity College.

This will give everyone a chance to relax, decompress and catch up with friends and colleagues from around the world who have travelled to this event.

Tickets for the party cost €40 and provide

•⁠ ⁠A choice of beef OR vegan burger

•⁠ ⁠Chicken wings in BBQ sauce

•⁠ ⁠Cocktail sausages, onion rings & chicken goujons

•⁠ ⁠Chips, coleslaw and salad, with dips.

•⁠ ⁠A pint of draught lager, ale or stout, a glass of white/red wine, or a vodka with mixer.

Please note, this is NOT a formal sit down dinner, but rather is a casual event. We’ve chosen to offer this style of party to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Other notes:

• If you’re purchasing a Taikai ticket from outside the EU, then you don’t need to pay VAT on that purchase.

• It’s possible to purchase the Taikai ticket on its own — you don’t need to purchase a teeshirt or party ticket unless you want them. Just adjust the quantities to ‘0’ when checking out.

• ​​We use Stripe to process payments for this event. Stripe is one of the largest and most secure online payment processors in the world.

• We DO NOT collect, view, or store any credit card information from you.

• Registration confirmations are sent out automatically via e-mail, so if you did not receive one, then please check:

  • ​​1) Your card account to confirm that the payment went through.

  • 2) If it did then please check your ‘spam folder’ on your email (especially on older email accounts).​

• If you still cannot find it there there may have been a typo when you entered your email, so please email us at dublintaikai@gmail.com including your full name, date of registration and the email that you used to register.
