Terms & Conditions:
People attending the Noguchi Taikai Dublin 2025 agree to the following terms and conditions. While some of these may appear to be strict, they are meant to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Taikai for everyone. They are based on best practices amongst Taikai organisers for previous events both with Noguchi Sensei and Hatsumi Sensei.
-
In the event of unforeseen circumstances outside of the organisers' control, such as health concerns, COVID, international incidents, conflicts, or other issues preventing Noguchi Sensei from attending this Taikai on the planned dates, the event will be rescheduled. If Noguchi Sensei is unable to attend a rescheduled date, tickets will be refunded, minus an administration fee intended to help defray any costs of cancelling the event.
-
As we anticipate a high turnout at this event with limited space, priority will be given to three-day attendees.
-
This event is only open to current students of Hatsumi Sōke’s Bujinkan Dōjō organisation.
-
Entry to the Taikai will be by registration confirmation and number. There will be no entry without proof of registration and payment.
-
The organiser(s) reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to anyone without a refund who refuses to comply with this stipulation.
-
This event is purely for the benefit of Bujinkan members, so out of courtesy to Noguchi Sensei during training, please only wear an appropriate black keikogi (training uniform), with only Bujinkan patches or logos on.
-
The organiser(s) reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to anyone without a refund who refuses to comply with this stipulation.
-
The organiser(s) reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to anyone without a refund who they deem to be potentially disruptive or a danger to anyone present. This is purely at the organiser’s discretion, and all such decisions will be final. This also applies to any ancillary events and the areas surrounding the Taikai venue.
-
There is to be no smoking at the event and no consumption of alcohol (or other intoxicants), either before or during training (including lunch or other breaks). For obvious safety reasons, anyone in breach of this condition may also be ejected or refused entry without a refund. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
No sharp, pointed, or metallic weapons are to be brought to the training venue. If they are, they will be confiscated, and those responsible may also be ejected or refused entry without a refund. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
If any participants have any physical or psychological health issues that may affect their participation in the Taikai in any way, they should seek prior medical guidance regarding their participation and inform the organiser(s).
-
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or require any participant to leave without a refund if they believe that a participant's health issue may represent a danger or health risk to themselves or others. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
No filming, no photos, or flash photography. Again, the organiser(s) reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to anyone without a refund who fails to comply with this condition. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
The organisers will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that there are opportunities to take non-flash photographs of, or with, Noguchi Sensei, but this will take place outside of the training itself.
-
Due to safety and security considerations, only pre-paid/ booked participants will be permitted into the training area. Any participant who attempts to bring non-authorised people into the training area may be ejected or refused entry without a refund. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
No goods or non-Taikai authorised merchandise or other items are to be sold or offered for sale in the Taikai venue or precincts thereof. Any participant who breaks this condition may be ejected or refused entry without a refund. Again, this will be solely at the discretion of the organiser.
-
Please don’t bring gifts for Noguchi Sensei. He is travelling by air and cannot carry them in his baggage. If you wish to give him a small gift, please wait until you visit Japan. Participants who give Noguchi Sensei gifts, etc., will be responsible for shipping them to Japan at their expense.
-
There is no automatic right to a refund of any registration fees, but in the exceptional event of a refund being issued, a handling fee will be charged.
-
Once tickets have been issued, no further refunds will be considered.
